If you have not already booked for the Lunch and Prize Presentation on 7th February you will just have time to do so with Maureen.

      MEMBERS' NEWS
q Colin K recorded a first for him, when at Christmas he went on a CTC touring holiday without his bike. Because of the weather Colin took the train to York with his walking boots and used those instead.
q Ken and Maureen attended the Cycling Time Trials Champions Night at Nottingham on 9th January, where Maureen collected the National age group medal she won in the National Championship 25 at Attleborough last June.
q Before the snow properly arrived, Mickwhen out on his mountain bike, came off when he collided with a cat, resulting in the usual cyclists grazes on all the protruding bits on one side and a cracked rib.
q John C spent ten days over Christmas in southern Spain so missed a lot our messy weather but had to suffer three days of rain and only managed a couple of rides.
q Mick's mileage of 6,527 in 2009 has moved him up one place in the 300,000 miles Club overall list to 27th out of 69 qualifiers, with a total of 466,053 miles despite the fact that he didn't record his mileage for the first 10 years of club riding.
