At the recent ICA Committee meeting it was agreed that the programme would be extended by four events in 2010. MEMBER'S NEWS
q On 11th October three members were among the 136 entrants for the CTC Suffolk 25 mile Roughstuff event from Butley on a fine but initially cool and dull morning. A veteran of the event Ken Nichols, competed without mishap in 2.25, while two of our newest members Mark Hammond and John Williamson, who were novices at the experience, were close behind Ken being timed at a very respectable 2.32.
q Paul Martin had a mishap while riding his mountain bike on the trails at Tangham in the forest, when he crashed and suffered torn ligaments etc between his shoulder and collar bone which required at least three weeks recuperation.
q Colin Kindred has kept his mileage topped up with a 430 mile round trip to Rugby and back to attend a reunion of the group he rode with on the End to End.
