Sporting Courses
(SPOCO) East Competition
The result
of the season long competition is out and show Club members generally in
slightly lower positions and with fewer point than last year. From the 34
qualifiers, Colin
C finished 22nd with 532 points, Olive
24th -523 points and Roger 26th - 514
points.
Bob led the Club group recording 1.4.02 backed by
Mick who secured 2nd Vet on Std Award in
the over 61 group with his 1.8.01, Roger 1.10.33 and Olive, who gained 2nd
Ladies Handicap with 1.31.28. John T had the misfortune to puncture.
It was too windy for fast
times on the
The wind had dropped from the
previous afternoon and veered to be more southerly. The event decided the
holder of another Club trophy, the Vets 25. Mick led a depleted Club group with
1.9.24 accompanied by Ged
1.10.47 and Olive 1.33.45.
After the
event Don, Olive and Mick attended the “End of Season” Buffet Lunch in Bungay, an event well organised
by Geoff Banham Godric CC.
