The Ipswich Cycling Association is an association of 4 cycling clubs in or around Ipswich, they organise a season long series of mid week evening time trials which are both a good way for experienced riders to test and prove their fitness and for novices to come along and try the sport. Existing membership of one of the clubs is not necessary, for a small amount in addition to the entry fee (only £2.50) you can join the fun!
After the event many of the competitors congregate at the bar to commiserate or celebrate with fellow time triallists.
If you're not sure that time trialling is for you, come along and watch one evening to see how the event is run. By all means come to the bar afterwards and ask questions, people are invariably keen to share their knowledge.
